HOW TO DO LIFE BIG!

September 30, 2015

First post. Lets start in the deep end. How to do life BIG?

"I think what defines us is our passions, and if we are unable to develop them, then our life holds no significance."

Ask yourself; What is it I am really interested in and enjoy?

And dont choose something because its the current trend or you are financially motivated, but rather because it sparks your curiosity. If you havent found it yet, its ok. Take the time to actively engage in new activites to find out what you are interested in. Get connected and talk to people already involved in activities to gain perspective on these possible new ventures. Importantly, be confident in yourself and dont let the fear of missing out on something better stop you from pursuing anything at all.

Once you have found your passions, you will know, because its just fun. No one will be required to sustain your energy. You will exude a natural confidence, because this is unapologetically you. Become a sponge (LOL), slowly learn everything there is to know and become a master. Let it define your life.

If you are unable to, anticipate that one day you will realise you have worked to build someone else's dream, and have not constructed and enjoyed life on your terms.

To develop you potential will take time, when it gets difficult, never give up. The wings of transformation are born of patience and struggle.

"Have goals that are really defined, because if you want something in life there is no limit."

I think Steve Jobs said it best in his Stanford commencement address, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you havent found it yet, keep looking and dont settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know it when you find it. And like any great relationship, it gets better and better as the years roll on."

You can take it as insight, or you can take it as Just BS.

Kit.
